Blacksalmon is the controller and responsible for your personal data (collectively referred to as “Blacksalmon”, "our", "us", or "we" in this privacy notice).

· OUR CONTACT FORM
When you fill out the contact form on our Site, your name and email address will be collected. They will be used to reply to your enquiry and communicate with you. We will not use your information for marketing purposes. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
· DATA RETENTION
If your enquiry results in you becoming a client your details will be held for our records. If you would like us to delete your information from our records you can ask us to do so by emailing our Data Controller at hello@blacksalmon.tv
If your enquiry does not lead to you becoming a client then your details will be archived. These can be deleted by contacting the Data Controller and submitting your request.
If you would like to know what information we hold on you or would like to have all the information we hold about you be removed then you can email us at hello@blacksalmon.tv with your request. We will get back to you within 3 business days.

· COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES
We use cookies on this Site to provide you with a better user experience. We do this by placing a small text file on your device / computer hard drive to track how you use the website, to record or log whether you have seen particular messages that we display, to keep you logged into the website where applicable, to display relevant adverts or content, referred you to a third party website.

This Site contains a Google Analytics tracker to understand how visitors use our Site’s content and to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). In order to do so, Google Analytics uses cookies. These track anonymous user behaviour and store no sensitive or personally identifiable information. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the Site, where visitors have come to the Site from and the pages they visited. The data Google Analytics collects is set to be retained for 14 months (the shortest amount of time Google allows this retention period to be) and will be deleted automatically after that.

· DATA SECURITY
To fulfil a or job or contract, we gather the information outlined in this policy. This information will be used to communicate with you and facilitate the agreed service deliverables. We store information on secure servers that are managed by us and our service providers, and occasionally hard copies that are kept in a secure location in Malta. Some of our services, notably emails and data storage, are provided by external suppliers. These may process and store personal information on their servers in many countries around the world. They may process and store your personal information on a server located outside the country where you live. We do however select the most trustworthy names with which to work who we believe maintain an acceptable standard of data security compliance, for instance, Google Inc and Dropbox Inc.
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. We may disclose Personal Information to our professional advisers acting as processors or joint controllers including lawyers, bankers, accountants, financial advisors, auditors and insurers based in Malta who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services.

We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
For freelancers, we gather the information outlined to process your application or keep you updated on future roles. Finally, we may also share your information with regulators and other authorities to comply with applicable laws and regulations when we are authorised or required by law to do so, or to otherwise protect our rights.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information above.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
